Cookie Decorating Class

Have you thought about making your own decorated sugar cookies, and want to learn? This is a great introduction into the basics of cookies

In this 1.5 hour, hands-on cookie decorating class you will learn:

• a basic sugar cookie recipe and tips on how to avoid spread
• discuss ideal thickness of your cookies and fondant
• different brands of fondant and how to get the most out of it
• what type of colouring to use and how to colour fondant
• how to use our 3d printed stamps and cutters, and the difference between an impressed stamp and raised stamp
• sticking fondant to your cookie, and sticking fondant to fondant
• learn about silicone moulds, hand painting with edible paint and lustres, and how to use stencils to create texture
• how to store your cookies for maximum freshness

You will also receive a 7cm circle cutter, plus a stamp and cutter of your choice which you used in the class.

Optional extra: You can choose to add on a class essentials pack for recreating your cupcakes at home. This pack includes a stamp and cutter set, a single cutter OR stamp, a sweet sticks stencil, 2x 20ml bottles of colour mill oil colours of your choice (you can choose them on the day). This pack will be $35 to add on at the time of your booking, with an RRP value of $43.80.

You will also have the opportunity to purchase the products you use in class, from our shop at the end of the session. You’ll find a great selection of decorating products to make incredible cakes, cupcakes and cookies from the comfort of your own kitchen.

Please note: All classes are non-refundable except where the class has been cancelled by 3 lil bugs. If you are unable to attend, 5 days’ notice is required to be able to change the date or receive a class credit.
